ABOUT ME

I realize that the story that I am about to tell you begins to make sense right now, in my late thirties. I share this thought with you because it has not been a linear path nor an easy one, and very often I felt totally lost, exhausted beyond measure and purposeless.  Maybe you are too navigating your own storms and you feel disoriented... my wish is that this story speaks more about hope than success. As Rilke said:

'Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue.

Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given to you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.'

After graduating from business management I have always worked with people: leisure time leader with children, special education assistant, high school teacher and finally in private companies as a customer service technician, operations and human resources manager.

During all this period and starting with an injury to my knee, that worked as a 'wake-up' call I would say, I experienced various personal breakdowns. I was 23 by then.

I came across with the Gestalt therapy , and after years of psychotherapy, I was so invested and amazed with this line of work that I decided to train as a therapist (IG Barcelona). It was a powerful experience and first step in my self-healing journey. I got also interested and trained in the systemic approach to health through family constellations and the enneagram through Claudio Naranjo's SAT program.

In recent years I realized that although I had worked out many personal issues, I still had physical symptoms that limited my daily life. Giving the leading role to my body, rather than my mind has been the second milestone in my healing journey. This was the reason that led me to delve into health (physical, mental and emotional) through the body. Intuitively, I have been practicing yoga for more than 15 years; and I have also participated in corrective/expressive body movement groups, boxing, bioenergetics and active OSHO meditations groups.

CALIFORNAN & PRESENCE BASED TOUCH

Looking for a different touch from conventional chiromassage or physiotherapy sessions, I discovered the MC through Xavier Gil (Californian Massage School) who was my masseur for several years. Later I trained with SPAZIO Massages and I discover the potential of this bodywork technique that I am passionate about.

Through the Californian massage I have been able to loosen up my body, connect more with my vitality and release experiences and traumas that I had not consciously been able to process. At the same time, I have been able to appropriate my sensitivity, validate it and put it at the service of others. It's one of the things I've come to do in this world!

After a few years working as a masseur in hotels, boutiques & SPAs (MiM Sitges) I decide to open my practice in Barcelona (2019). Currently I am still training, receiving massage on a regular basis and doing exchanges with my colleagues. My fields of interest are the body approach to trauma from the polyvagal theory and energy therapies.

I am happy surrounded by nature (the sea and the mountains), my favorite place: the Pyrenees. When it's sunny I can't wait to take some sunshine like a lizard.

I have a daughter and a wonderful partner. Many people have helped me get here and I feel blessed with the life I have.

Through my online agenda you can schedule your 90-minute massage easily. Check my availability and book at the time that suits you best. I speak english and french.
